Guts Casino Review
A reputable casino hosting over 2,300 top slot games
Casinomeister's Verdict
Guts Casino has been around since June 2013. Originally launched by Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), it was later acquired by Betsson Group’s Zecure Gaming Limited in 2017. These days, the casino operates under an MGA licence, with the Casinomeister Accreditation dating back to August 2013. But that’s just stating the obvious. Here’s what’s under the hood.
The standout feature at Guts Casino has to be the games lobby. Players can find over 2,000 slots and more than 200 live casino games, alongside a strong mix of providers like NetEnt, Play’n GO and Evolution. Definitely a lineup we put a lot of faith into.
The site keeps things clean and easy to move through, with games and key sections right where you’d expect them. No fuss, no hunting, just straight into playing.
But we’re not just here to focus on the positives, though.
Guts Casino goes all in on poker. Great news for poker fans, less so for everyone else. As it operates on the iPoker Network, it’s unsurprising, really. This may be off-putting for players looking for a VIP or loyalty programme that focuses more broadly on casino games. Plus, bonus terms are fairly strict, with tight wagering windows (7 days) and not much flexibility. To top it all off, fees for withdrawals may apply.
Overall, it’s a well-regulated, solid casino that doesn’t try to be clever about it. It just delivers a strong, reliable lineup of games and lets that do all the talking.
Substantial games lobby
From the Desk of Max Drayman
We’ve had 8 player issues at Guts in 10+ years and that is an extra-ordinarily low rate of complaints. TBH we did have some troubles with them in the late 20-teens as their representative situation got pretty sticky for a while. When they joined Betsson in 2020 those problems soon evaporated and all is good now. A top-shelf casino from a highly reputable and reliable casino group: ++good!

Guts Casino Bonuses and Promotions
If you’re heading to Guts Casino hoping for big, exciting bonuses, the experience is going to depend on whether or not you’re an avid card player.
The promotions page is easy to find, but once you’re there, pretty quickly, you can tell poker is the centre of everything. If you love keeping your cards close to your chest, you’re in luck. If not, you might want to branch out and find an alternative casino bonus instead.
For general casino deposit bonuses, there are 35x wagering requirements, so a €10 deposit with a €10 bonus means you’ll need to wager €350 before you can withdraw. Definitely very much in line with current industry standards. What does stand out as a red flag is the seven-day time frame to meet the wager. Bordering on unrealistic.
We’d say that, all in all, Guts is big on poker and has a few other promotions that are basically an afterthought.
VIP and Loyalty Programme
One thing missing at Guts Casino is a VIP programme or loyalty scheme for regular casino players. Its absence stands out like a sore thumb, as it’s a feature we always look for in our casino reviews.
There is, however, a kind of loyalty offer, but the focus is again very much on poker players. This scheme offers up to 30% cashback depending on your tier. Great if you’re a regular at the poker tables, but not so much for everyone else.
Banking & Payment Methods
Just glancing over the payment options, the phrase ‘bog standard’ immediately comes to mind.
The variety of payment methods is on the lower end, with 10 depositing methods and 9 withdrawal methods. You can find popular options, including Visa, Skrill and Neteller, but we don’t think this makes up for the lack of choice.
As for speed, e-wallet withdrawals are the quickest, often landing within 0 to 24 hours, while card payments and bank transfers sit between one and seven days. There’s also a fairly reasonable €10 minimum withdrawal and no maximum payout limit. Finally, a gutsy move!
That said, there are a few catches. If you make more than 25 withdrawals in a month, each additional withdrawal is charged a fee of 2% (minimum €5) of the amount. We don’t expect many players to be making over 25 withdrawals per month, but this is still an unnecessary addition to the small print.
You’ll need to have wagered your deposit at least once before cashing out, even if you didn’t claim a bonus. Another thing is that withdrawals are usually sent back to the same method used for depositing (closed-loop system). Not out of the ordinary, but worth keeping in mind.
Account verification at Guts is straightforward. If documents are required, you’ll be notified by email and asked to upload them through your account. Once you submit them, your documents should be processed within 24 hours and you’ll receive confirmation when everything has been approved.

Responsible Gambling
Responsible gambling tools are in place, for sure, but they don’t stand out in any way from anything you’d find at other licensed online casinos. Deposit limits, session limits, reality checks, time out and self-exclusion are amongst the mix, which feels more like ticking off a to-do list than standout features that seek to protect players.
The tools are easy enough to access through account settings once logged in, and you won’t need any training to get them working. Limits can be set on both wagering and time. There’s also a useful safeguard in place: any increase or removal of limits is not immediate and is subject to a 24-hour cooling-off period. There’s also a self-assessment test, alongside links to BeGambleAware and Gamblers Anonymous, adding additional credibility.
Customer Support at Guts Casino
Guts Casino’s customer support can be reached 24/7 through live chat or email. They’ve also got a detailed FAQs section.
They’ve got rough guidelines on the homepage that state emails are answered within around 60 minutes and live chat should be connected within 60 seconds, so we put this to the test.
Live chat actually impressed us. We were connected with an agent almost immediately, and once we got past the verification section and the outdated-looking chat interface, the experience was smooth sailing. The agent took a moment or two to locate the account in the system, but they did mention to us that they’re happy to answer questions even for players who haven’t yet registered. After that, the responses came quickly and the whole thing felt pretty seamless.
Email support was a bit more mixed. We did get a reply, but it took just over the hour mark. So slightly slower than the guideline, but not dramatically so. It likely depends on how busy the queue is at the time.
Guts Casino Experience and Features
With a sleek design and impeccable thought gone into the user experience, you shouldn’t have trouble navigating the main pages at Guts Casino.
The games are neatly split into subcategories, so you won’t be endlessly scrolling to find what you’re looking for. We would like to see a few more filtering options in the slots category to make it just that little bit easier. Even a few options to look for themes or bonuses would be a great addition. But maybe that’s just a personal preference of ours.
Load times are fast and graphics run smoothly, so everything feels responsive and works exactly as it should when you load up a game. A nice touch is the player comments section on the homepage. It adds a bit of transparency and a layer of legitimacy. That’s always nice to see.
One small annoyance is the Help Centre, which opens in a separate tab. It’s not necessarily the end of the world, but it can feel clunky jumping back and forth — especially on mobile. That said, at least everything customer service-related is kept in one easy-to-find location.
There’s no dedicated iOS or Android Guts Casino app, and while this might sound like a downside, it honestly isn’t a major issue. The mobile site runs smoothly on all device browsers and feels just as functional, so you’re not really missing out on anything.

Guts Casino Game Providers
Guts has a pretty stacked games library with 60+ providers — a genuinely impressive number. You’ve got all the big hitters in there like Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, NetEnt, Evolution and Big Time Gaming. So the classics and crowd favourites are well covered. Players also have newer, edgier studios like Hacksaw Gaming and Nolimit City thrown into the mix, keeping things feeling fresh.
It’s worth having a browse through the New Providers section in the lobby, as that’s where some of the more interesting releases tend to show up. We tried a game from Aleander Games while reviewing the casino, and it was actually very solid. A nice reminder that smaller providers shouldn’t be overlooked.
Guts Casino Slots
Guts has 2,397 slots, which is, based on what we’ve seen elsewhere, a smallish size for a games library.
It’s got a Featured section at the top of the casino page. From there, you’ll find crowd favourites like Book of Dead, Sweet Bonanza and Razor Shark. So, if you’re not in the mood to browse endlessly for a game, this is an easy option.
We also checked in with live chat to see how often new games are added. They told us that new releases drop roughly every other week. These either appear in the dedicated New Games section or get a little ‘New’ tag in the games lobby. For that reason, they’re fairly easy to spot.
The Trending section is worth a look, too, if you want to see what other players are currently into. If you fancy trying something entirely, well, exclusive, the Exclusive section is your best bet.
Live Casino
The live casino section at Guts is strong, with over 200 live games to choose from. You’ve got the usual suspects like roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game shows.
Initially, we did have a moment of confusion, wondering where all the poker games were after seeing them mentioned just about everywhere. Then, we realised they were tucked away in their own separate Poker section players can access from the panel at the top of the site. A bit random at first, but it does make sense given how poker is basically treated like the VIP guest here.
Our take? The live games are slick and easy to move through, letting you hop between tables with ease. This keeps that classic live casino energy going strong without any unnecessary faff or distractions.
About the Guts Casino Team and History
Guts Casino has a fairly long history in the industry, with the site launching in 2013. That was after Guts Gaming Ltd was incorporated in 2012 as a fully owned subsidiary of the Gaming Innovations Group. The casino quickly built momentum, particularly on the poker front, and has since grown into a recognisable name with the online gambling community.
The platform is now operated by Zecure Gaming Limited and runs under a licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). In August 2013, soon after the site was launched, Guts Casino became Casinomeister-Accredited.
Player Comments on Guts Casino
Our forum isn’t exactly a space filled with negativity towards Guts, but players have had a few problems over the years. As the Betsson representative is active in the forum, these issues tend to be assessed and resolved fairly quickly. Let’s take a look at what players are saying:
DreamRJ: “As for Guts casino, I think everyone knows how bad that casino was with their constant repeated harassing and requesting of ID every other day. You get verified which taken them days to do and they confirm it via mail you are now verified to then a few days or week later you again get asked for the same ID yet again.”
Mariym: “Since then, the withdrawals have been in ”waiting approval” state. Guts help center says withdrawals are processed in 24 hours. I have been in contact with customer service daily, both via chat and email, but I have only received automatic responses stating that the withdrawals are under ”standard control”.”
Complaints and Track Record
After seeing a few complaints made in the forum, we figured the PAB section might be where players go to hash out their concerns. However, we only stumbled across a handful of complaints dating back to before 2020.
Ultimately, this demonstrates that the casino knows what it’s doing.
